Kids Running Program-

Kids are natural runners, but whether they are running with you or in an event, they require special care at every step of their development. This seven week program consists of education in  running form, pace, cadence as well as healthy habits, nutrition, attire, injury prevention, and good sportsmanship. This is a program that is non-competitive and promotes pride in accomplishment and personal improvement at any level.  Each week the group will meet for approx. 60 minutes. Time of meeting increases as kids increase their distance. Required equipment for participation is a pair of comfortable running shoes. No exceptions on shoes.
The Great Chocolate Race is May 6th in Hampton.  This is a 5K and a great opportunity for kids to participate in a scheduled event where they can get their medal, shirt, and of course Chocolate.  This event is optional and takes place the weekend after our class ends for the Spring.
