American Red Cross Babysitting Course

If you are planning to babysit, take this class to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants learn about basic child care and basic first aid, while developing their own babysitting business. Open to ages 11-15.
Limited to 10 kids.
Saturday, November 5   
Time: 9am-4pm.
Deadline: November 1

Baton Classes

Learn the skills to twirl baton and enjoy the fun of twirling with the Islanderettes.                   
Classes offered on Tuesdays at Poquoson Elementary School.  Ages 4 and Up
Times range from 4-7pm based on age.Registration is in 2 sessions
Session 1 is September thru Mid Jan.
Session 2 is January- May
Each session has a minimum of 15 class hours.
Cost: $20 registration fee & $90 Session 1
Session 2: registration fee waived if paid by Jan 31. & $90 Session 2.
Fee is not pro-rated for late starters. Program: #111
All participants will need a baton, which will be
ordered at an additional cost, approx. $30.
The instructor will assist in ordering this item.
All baton students have the option to join the performance group-Islanderettes.

Halloween-Treats that are Tasty & Frightening

Make your own hard candy lollipop treats for your sweet snacks and
chocolate pretzels with candy molds and drizzles! We will have all of
the frightening decorations to make them scary or less frightful, but definitely
sweet. Open to kids ages 7-13, includes all supplies, plus samples that you
