American Red Cross Babysitting Course


Learn the basics to care for children and infants, learn to make good decisions and
to problem solve so you can provide the best possible care for those in your charge.
Learn to handle emergencies, and how to respond to illnesses and household
accidents. This course will help sitters with tips to develop their own babysitting
business. Designed for sitters ages 11 and up. Course is 9am-4pm. Must attend full day. Participants should pack lunch. Class is located at the Municipal Building. Space limited to 10 per session.
Saturday, November 18 Program: #104 Cost: $48resident/$58 non-resident.
Must register 6 days prior to start of class.

Kids Love to Sew 101


Ages 7 and Up
Gain basic sewing skills from selecting a pattern, cutting and piecing to create an awesome project. This course is 4 weeks and participants are encouraged to bring a
sewing machine if you have one.
Cost: $45 residents/$55 non-residents
Class meets Wednesdays 10/25, 11/1, 11/8 and 11/15 Time of 6:00-7:30pm
Municipal Building.
A materials list will be provided following registration.

Kids Running Program-


Kids are natural runners, but whether they are running with you or in an event, they require special care at every step of their development. This eight week program consists of education in running form, pace, cadence as well as healthy habits, nutrition, attire, injury prevention, and good sportsmanship. This is a program that is non-competitive and promotes pride in accomplishment and personal improvement at any level. Each week the group will meet for approx. 60 minutes. Required equipment for participation is a pair of comfortable running shoes. No exceptions on shoes. Program meets Wednesdays Time: 4:30-5:30pm Beginning September 13th.

Kid’s Gingerbread House Workshop


Ages 6-13
Students will decorate their own Gingerbread House made of Gingerbread! We will provide ALL of the candy and icing for construction! All houses are completely
edible so you can make a perfect centerpiece for the
holidays! Please note any food allergies with registration. All Gingerbread Houses decorated are taken home.
Participants are asked to please tie back long hair & bring an apron. Cost $20 residents/$30 non-residents

Kid’s Winter Cupcake Decorating


Ages 6 and Up
This special class on a school holiday (Martin Luther King- Holiday) will introduce participants to basic
cupcake decorating skills using buttercream icing! Decorate cupcakes in Winter Wonderland Style. From Snowflakes to Snowmen & more. We will even use edible glitter and sprinkles. Please note any food allergies with registration. All cupcakes decorated are taken home. Participants will need to tie back long hair and bring an apron. Fee includes all supplies.
