Camp will focus on basic basketball skills and drills for play and fundamental instruction. Camp includes fun games, and shooting techniques. Space is limited for each session. Pre-registration required.

Volleyball Camp

Focus on volleyball fundamentals; from serving to passing for game play. Lots of interactive skills and games to put into your volleyball play. Great camp to attend if considering play at the next level.

Football Camp

Stadium Field
Work on basics for passing, punting, and specific positions. Learn fundamentals of the game and conditioning drills to increase speed, coordination and techniques. All participants must pre-register. No registration or money taken at the field.

Sports Galore is the place for you! Stimulating Brain-teaser warm-ups each morning, exciting obstacle courses, special Guest speakers, kickball, and swimming will all be part of this one of a kind camp week! Thursday will feature a field trip roller skating; while Friday will spend a morning at the Poquoson Pool.
Expose your child to new activities while making new friends and getting lots of exercise! Bring snack, water & sun block each day for your child.

 Tennis Camp

This camp is designed to help youth learn the game essentials including serve basics, developing hand and arm strength, and precision hitting and scoring tactics.
Camp will divide children for skill instruction based on ability and age.

Model Rocketry

Explore the parts and functions of a rocket and learn about the physics of rocket flight. Learn about rocket design and stability as you build and construct from start to launch your very own rocket during this hands-on camp.
Includes all supplies and 3-2-1 Blast Off to launch your own model rocket.

Robotics Camp

Campers will be introduced to the basics of robotics, and how to build a robot from a kit. Robots will compete in contests just like battle bots. Lots of construction, and problem solving using your robot will all be part of the experience. Construct, building, design and challenges will all be part of the camp week experience.

The Cake Boss comes to Poquoson. This one week camp is designed to be an intensive hands on session to teach students the basic decorating skills needed to decorate cakes and pastries. Learn to properly ice a cake, decorate using buttercream icing and other fun skills. Students will get to take home their work and enjoy it. Learn the tools of the trade. Please inform us of any food allergies at the time of registration. All supplies provided.

The Science of Candy

Learn about the science of sugar in this fun camp with edible projects. Learn how to make your own chewing gum, fudge, hard lollipops, and flavors for rock candy. Bring an apron and a small snack each day to class.

imagination while we create art and crafts that are out of this world! Paint your own galaxies, create planets and stars, decorate aliens and design your own space craft

Engineering

Learn the basics of engineering principles to solve any problem, and how to apply the design process to build, to implement and to test your own solution. Students using the engineering process will work with tower building, bridge building, and air powered car construction. Lots of hands-on learning fun.

Digital Storytelling with Stop Motion

In this super fun STEAM camp, campers create a one of a kind stop motion animation movie. Learn basics of Photoshop, graphic design, roles of a set director, and much more. Take home a published favorite character movie on USB Stick
