1.Proposed amendment to Section 1-23(1) of the Zoning Ordinance to allow accessory structures on properties developed with single-story dwellings to measure 1.25 times the height of the dwelling.

Prior to the regular session, the Planning Commission will meet in a work session at 6:00 p.m. on August 21, 2017 in the referenced Council Chambers to discuss the following:
1. Review of proposed revisions to the introduction and chapters one and two of the 2008-2028 Comprehensive Plan.
2.Discussion of proposed work session schedule as it relates to the 2008-2028 Comprehensive Plan update.
3.The continued analysis of open-ended question element of the community survey by the Planning Commission.
4.Discussion on methods of receiving public input on revised chapters.
Also Take Notice that a tentative schedule of work sessions has been created for discussion of revisions to each chapter of the 2008-2028 Comprehensive Plan as follows:
September 7, 2017, Chapter 3 - Housing
September 21, 2017, Chapter 4 - Economics
October 5, 2017, Chapter 5 – Environmental Management
October 19, 2017, Chapter 6 - Community Services and Facilities
November 2, 2017, Chapter 7 - Infrastructure
November 16, 2017, Chapter 8 - Land Use
These work sessions are open to the public and will commence at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 500 City Hall Avenue. Interested persons may call the Department of Community Development or refer to the City’s website to confirm the schedule.
